We rely on all our employee-owners to apply their financial acumen to grow the Firm profitablynPosition SummarynYou'd be responsible for participating in the design process of structural building systems, preparing detailed structural engineering drawings, and design calculations. nThe successful candidate will:n Assist in developing project objectives, goals, and documentation policies.n Develop structural designs from concept through completion of construction.n Prepare engineering design calculations and layouts.n Prepare detailed engineering reports and narratives.n Coordinate structural design requirements with architecture, and other disciplines.nRequired Qualifications:n Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.n 0-2 years experience as a Structural Engineer designing structural building systems on complex projects.nPreferred Qualifications:n Experience with a consulting engineering or A/E firm as a structural engineer designing systems for Commercial Educational (K-12 and Higher Education), Civic Projects, or Government projects (State or Federal).n Passed Fundamentals of Engineering Exam.n Experience and interest in sustainable building design.n Experience with BIM (e.g. Autodesk Revit MEP) workflow.nOur comprehensive Benefits at DLR Group include: medical, dental, vision, disability, wellness programs, flex spending, paid holidays, and paid time off.
