Construction Project Manager
Our Architectural Fa ade Solutions division provides exterior wall panel and other building envelope systems in a variety of product and installation options. We create custom facade systems for all needs in commercial construction. The Project Manager will provide management oversight for all phases of assigned high-profile project(s) including coordinating field staff, craft workers, materials, equipment, submittals, ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications, creating and maintaining schedules, financial management, review and pricing of change documents and budget/cost reviews and re-estimates.
Responsibilities:
Manage multiple projects at one time (total number will depend upon size and location)
Customer defined role, must meet or exceed customers' expectations for every project
Review contracts for project requirements and scope of work
Determine cost-effective plans, budgets, and SOVs
Maintain all project related documentation, including but not limited to, RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, schedules, billing, job costs, and weekly client reports
Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, field staff, craft labor, and equipment
Oversee fabrication, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards
Create, track and update construction schedules, project look-ahead schedules, and labor tracking
Report to Owner/GC regarding progress, modifications, delays or disruptions
Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environments by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with OSHA
Supervise Assistant PM's, Coordinators and Superintendents
Qualifications:
General technology proficiency
Experience with Microsoft Office, Spectrum, Blue Beam, and Smartsheet €“ Preferred
Experience with field measuring €“ Preferred
Proactive problem solver with the ability to balance multiple projects
Excellent organizational, time management and planning skills
Capable of working independently while maintaining deadlines
Ability to handle high-level sensitive and confidential information
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field
2 years of experience (5 years of experience in construction management acceptable in lieu of degree)
Work Environment:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be comfortable with heights
May require travel
Must be willing to work non-traditional hours occasionally to meet project needs
