Private sector sheds 693000 jobs

On Wednesday ADP’s national employment released a report stating that last month private-sector employment decreased by 693,000.
Joel Prakken, chairman of Macroeconomic Advisers LLC. said that this number was far greater than the projected number of 500,000 issued before the report was released.
The report is based on payroll data and measures the change in total nonfarm private employment each month.
