Job Summary
AECOM’s Ports & Marine team has enjoyed successful and rapid growth over the last 12 months which has created an opportunity for a Lead Marine Structural Engineer with strong leadership, project management and technical experience to join the talented team based in Perth.
Our Ports & Marine division are a highly specialised team of professionals that provide unique project scope and abilities within the national civil & infrastructure business. This role will have you involved in specialised marine projects partnering with major blue-chip clients across the country and you will play a lead role in managing design teams and contributing to the first-class delivery of marine structure projects.
Working in a global organisation with industry specialists, you will have exposure to a wide range of projects that AECOM continue to be awarded. Our keen focus on enabling digital capability and the collaborative nature of our organisation will enable you to have the opportunity to not only work on local projects, but also contribute to projects across throughout WA and across the country.
As our impressive project pipeline goes continue to expand the team requires strengthening, and your strong technical and project management experience will be drawn upon to lead on various projects ensuring first class delivery to a wide array of national and international clients.
Minimum Requirements
Extensive technical experience in the design of near shore marine structures
Ability to manage and lead a talented and dedicated engineering and design team
Proven ability to use and model structures in SpaceGass and Strand 7
Consulting experience highly regarded in similar environments
Strong focus on quality and adheres with system process requirements.
Leadership experience of small to medium sized projects
Preferred Qualifications
Recognised qualification (Associate Diploma, Bachelor of Engineering Technology or equivalent).
Proven project management experience dealing with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
