is partnered with an engineering firm in the Indianapolis area that is in the process of searching for a Structural Engineer
to join their team. With recent growth and new projects on the horizon they want to find a driven individual that is excited about a growing company.
Structural Engineer Responsibilities
Perform all aspects of site design associated with engineering a variety of projects
Work with teams to prepare engineering reports and details on existing and proposed structures/facilities
Conduct site visits to gather existing conditions data
Knowledge of and ability to review and evaluate building construction documents for accuracy and compliance with state and local laws and regulations
Knowledge and skill in using a variety of computer programs and technology used in solving engineering problems
Knowledge and experience in the design, construction and maintenance of buildings and structures as they relate to present-day building code requirements for reinforced concrete, steel, masonry, wood and other building materials
3-6 years of progressive structural experience
Licensed Professional Engineer
Proven ability to lead and mentor an engineering staff
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Recognized skills in technical and client-related problem solving
What You Get
Base salary $65,000-$80,000 DOE
401k, Health, PTO
