Design responsibilities will include, at a minimum, the following:
Structural design/analysis to include, towers, poles, frames, trusses, pedestals, racks, and others. Materials are predominantly steel and concrete, but other materials such as wood and aluminum are occasionally used. All work to be reviewed by senior engineers or technical team leads.
Provide pre-design services such as data gathering, programming, and planning
Create design drawings and specifications.
Create analysis and/or inspection reports.
Coordinate design work with other disciplines
Technical Expert for contractors, fabricators, owners and clients from beginning to end of project.
Support construction process through RFI response, site observations and Document reviews
Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) from an ABET accredited college or university with a focus on structural engineering.
Engineering Intern (EIT/EI) Certification preferred. New PE a Plus
1-5 years related structural design experience.
Experience designing vertical structures
REVIT design experience a plus
Adept at working with teams made up of multiple disciplines
Detail oriented, conscientious, self-motivated.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience with Government and Design build projects
