WSP is currently initiating a search for a Supervising Civil Engineer / Project Manager
in our Orlando
office. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for large regional projects or groups of smaller capital projects, including the management of schedules, budgets, and client expectations. You will participate in the formulation and presentation of technical concepts in proposal development, during the design phase, and for existing client presentation. Additionally, you will be engaged in the growth and development our of team by providing mentorship, technical guidance, and participation in the hiring and evaluation of junior staff. As a successful candidate, we will have the opportunity to take control of your own career path. This position is an excellent opportunity to continue to enhance your design skills, build relationships within WSP, as well as expand your experience with a diverse offering of clients around the region.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage projects and maintain schedule, budget, and profitability, overseeing preparation of plans, specifications, and proposals.
Lead a Civil/Transportation design team
Coordinate with other design disciplines such as roadway, structures, drainage, traffic, and utilities, etc.
Collaborating with management to determine long-range plans and objectives, including recommendations on project staffing, and evaluating and mentoring subordinate staff.
Review, monitor and/or develop complex layouts, sketches, plans, specifications and estimates standards and guidelines, correspondence, and/or prepare reports.
Participate in preparation of technical proposals, negotiations, and staff estimates.
Maintain positive client relationships.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineering License (FL)
10 years of experience in large transportation and infrastructure projects
Expressway and/or Limited Access experience working with FDOT or the Central Florida Expressway (CFX)
Project and staff management experience on transportation projects.
