Job Description : Supports, coordinates, and ensure the completion of Facility Engineering projects. Exercise technical authority for the design, planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of assigned Facility Engineering projects to include major facility modifications, construction projects, Class III support equipment projects, and facility systems engineering projects for the Trident II missile. Duties include development and review of engineering data packages; drawings, specifications, testing/acceptance procedures and cost estimating. Plan and formulate engineering program reviews, product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates and participates in activities concerned with technical development, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.This position requires the applicant to have the ability to obtain a secret clearance to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.Basic QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering degree from an accredited university or college. This position requires the applicant to have the ability to obtain a secret clearance to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.Desired skillsLicensure in Electrical Engineering (FE / PE).Computer assisted drafting (AutoCAD, REVIT, Pro-E).Demonstrated execution of engineering projects from start to finish.Demonstrated experience creating work products for design, inspection and testing activities. Demonstrated experience integrating systems or equipment into existing process or space.Demonstrate ability to Team.Knowledge of power systems.
