Job DescriptionnJob Title:u202f CAD Drafter / DraftspersonnClient: Confidential nLocation:u202f Bronx, NY n nSeeking a strong CAD leader looking who is looking for a new drafting opportunity! u202fThis position is working for a General Contractor that has focuses on residential projects for nearly 40 years.  The position comes with great benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, 401K program, life insurance, commuter benefits, and much more.n nPOSITION SUMMARY nThe CAD Designer will prepare clear, complete, and accurate working plans and detailed drawings based on customer specifications. They will communicate and work with a team of in-house carpenters, millworkers, and project managers to provide custom architectural projects that highlight he creative vision of each client. A majority of these projects will focus on millwork projects, interior trim, fine details, etc.   nu202f nTYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIESu202f  nn Work closely with in-house millworkers, carpenters, and project managers from start to finish of both new builds and renovations.  n Coordinate with site management to prioritize projects, working with local Project Managers to understand and undertake projects of varying scopes and sizes. n Utilize multitasking skills to manage new build and renovation projects, coordinating with various timelines and deadlines. n Occasional site inspections to verify measurements. n Communicate with in-house teams and Project Managers to relay updates and address questions.  nnu202f nQUALIFICATIONS nn Strong experience in AutoCAD design required  n Experience in Adobe PDF is preferred n Strong Microsoft Office skills nnn Proficient in AutoCAD n Have woodworking knowledge to create submission drawings, shop drawings and RFQ Set. n Bacheloru2019s degree preferred, but not required n Able to read construction drawing sets n Ability to do field surveys nnn Able to multitask with ease and work on multiple projects at a time n Problem solver, with great communication skills n Excellent attention to detail nnu202f nCOMPENSATION nPay is commensurate to experience, up to $75,000 annual salary.
