EST, Inc., a full-service, multi-disciplinary transportation engineering firm, is hiring for numerous positions in our rapidly-expanding Denver, CO office. Position Description and Responsibilities: EST is seeking a registered civil engineer with at least 10 years of experience to join our Water Resources group in our Denver office. We are accepting resumes for individuals who are team oriented, self-motivated, energetic and goal-oriented. As the Water Resources Manager you will oversee multiple projects of varying size and complexity, and will ensure that projects are accomplished within prescribed time frames and budgets. You will use your project management skills to plan, direct, track, and coordinate all project activities. You may also formulate project approaches and lead the proposal process for Water Resource projects. Applicants will be considered for full time employment and should be ready to begin as soon as possible. You will independently manage complex water resources analysis and design projects for both public and private clients. Oversight and comprehensive knowledge of drainage design, detailed hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, with broad understanding of how these all work and can be incorporated into all types of projects is a must. The Project Manager for Water Resources will also support our private development, municipal, transportation, and planning projects in other offices, as needed. The successful candidate will know how to cultivate internal client relationships to successfully fulfill this role. Minimum Qualifications: The successful candidate must have a degree in civil engineering and have passed his/her PE (or the equivalent of 10 years in this industry). Ability to be flexible, work well with others and mentor junior engineering staff is a must in addition to managing concurrent projects assignments with a responsibility for profitability and quality. Applicant must have a strong knowledge of CDOT and other local flood control agencies. Preferred Skills: Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited engineering school Minimum of 10 years work experience including project management in Water Resources and familiarity with hydraulic modeling software Excellent technical, communication and organizational skills CFM When Applying: Send cover letter and resume to ~~~ with subject: Water Resource Manager.
