Business Line Transportation Position Title OCS Team Leader I\/II United States of America - Pennsylvania Philadelphia Job Summary AECOM is seeking an Overhead Contact System (OCS) team leader for our transit rail overhead electrification practice in Philadelphia, PA. The overhead electrification practice in Philadelphia is dynamic and growing. This position will include working with a dedicated team of overhead electrification professionals on a broad range of projects through North America, including various catenary systems types and configurations. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Working with the OCS Practice Lead to hire and manage staff for the Philadelphia OCS department. Lead pursuits and develop proposals for prospective projects and be responsible, along with the OCS practice lead, for wins and bookings for the practice and ensuring that the staff levels and experience appropriate to execute all work Providing mentoring, instruction and oversight for engineers in the practice to develop knowledge of OCS elements, guide them through design tasks and increase overall capabilities of the practice Serve as a technical design lead on electrification projects throughout North America Full range of catenary design and analysis tasks, including support and wiring layouts and profiles, cross-section development, structural support design, equipment allocation, grounding and bonding, sectionalizing, and the development of basic design parameters Responsible for management of the project team, budgets and all design deliverables Minimum Requirements Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Civil, Structural or Electrical Engineering 10 years of experience in the design, analysis and construction of overhead electrification systems, preferably including a variety of project scopes and design phases ranging from preliminary design through construction Level I\/ 13 years level II Experienced in the development of specifications, cost estimating, construction staging, and design around active railroad and should be familiar with construction and installation practices Experience with a variety of overhead system types and electrification project scopes Experience utilizing AutoCAD and Microstation in OCS design Experience with structural and foundation design software (STAAD, LPile, MathCAD) Strong written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of MS Office applications Successful candidate will have designed and implemented a variety of overhead system types including auto-tensioned and fixed termination systems, simple catenary and single contact wire\/trolley wire, as well as both AC and DC systems Preferred Qualifications Professional Engineering License What We Offer AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people.
