Description: The Facilities Planning and Construction Manager reports directly to the RMS TLS/C6ISR Facilities Engineering Senior Manager. Major responsibilities include site strategic and tactical space planning, footprint efficiency/optimization, TLS real estate management and oversight, project requirements development and budgeting, and design and construction oversight and management. The Planning and Construction Manager is a highly capable leader leading a team of facilities professionals responsible for cradle to grave development and execution of all facilities projects at the RMS Orlando campus.
Experience in strategic planning, space planning, project development, estimating, and design and construction management as well as expense and capital budget development and management. Demonstrated FSL attributes and ability to motivate others, including cultivating and growing a diverse team in a dynamic environment. Experience in integrated workplace managements systems such as IBM Tririga (LMBuildings). Ability to develop and foster internal customer relationships.
Experience implementing integrated workplace management systems. Experience managing large expense and capital budgets at Lockheed Martin. Experience managing/overseeing subcontracted engineering design and construction services.
