We are partnered with Human Resource Alliance who is recruiting for a large construction company. All applicants will be screened and vetted before meeting with the client for the final interviews.SUMMARYConstruction Project Managers control the time, cost and quality of construction projects, from residential, commercial and industrial developments. The PM plans and coordinates all aspects of the construction process based on established deadlines.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management and determine the resources (time, staff and, equipment) required to complete the projectCreate a detailed project plan and develop activity sequencingDevelop forms and records to document project activitiesReview the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards and specification.Monitor and approve all budgeted project expendituresMonitor cash flow projections and report actual cash flow and variance to senior management an construction team members on a regular basis and negotiate and develop project scope change ordersManage all project funds according to established accounting policies and proceduresPrepare financial reports and supporting documentation for funders as outlined in funding agreementsEnsure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and according to specifications.Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phaseAssess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization. QUALIFICATIONS3 - 5 years of previous project management \/ project superintendent experience.Excellent communication, organizational, grammatical, and time-management skills.Problem-solving: Assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and\/or resolve the problem Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize work requests.Ability to be an independent worker with a team player attitude.Positive attitude with good customer service skills.Excellent time management skillsBehave Ethically and understand ethical business practices, and ensure that own behavior is consistent with the values of the organizationEDUCATION and\/or EXPERIENCERequired: HS graduate with at least 3 to 5 years of proven Project Management or Superintendent Experience in civil or wet utilities construction related field. Preferred: 4 Year degree in construction related field (Construction Management,, Building Science or Civil Engineer). CCM Certification and highly experienced in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, View Point, Heavy Job and Heavy Bid software to extract and provide job cost analysis, project information and produce related reports.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position will have limited direct supervision requirementsLANGUAGE SKILLSThis position requires the ability to communicate in English with co-workers, customers and the general public.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSThis job requires the ability to do and understand moderate math equations and financial concepts.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Able to sit for extended periods of time.
