This person will need to be a change agent that is passionate, has high energy, and is results-oriented with a creative and analytical mind. Will have experience with advanced project management tools and processes and should have the ability to manage critical situations. n nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS nnDefine project objectives, requirements, and assumptions necessary to structure a project or activity. nProficient in estimating projects for industrial and commercial projects.nPlan, schedule, and control project activities to fulfill objectives and satisfy project requirements. nDevelop and drive integrated project plans, aligning project tactics with project strategy. nEstablish, maintain, and lead high performance project teams, serving as the project advocate within the client organization. nLead, coordinate, facilitate, and motivate all associated project resources to gain alignment on project goals, revenue goals and deliverables. nManage projects including design, entitlements, estimating, and permitting and construction management. Specific project management tasks include site improvements, design team management, schedule creation and management, financial management including cash flows, anticipated cost reports and monthly reports. nOversee capital improvement/asset preservation programs with design and construction processes at multiple sites through local resources. nDevelop project budget including hard costs and soft costs and firm knowledge of construction cost/benefit analysis. nDevelop project schedule including all key project milestones. nInterface with architects, engineers, client staff, and vendors.nProvide appropriate level of on-site supervision to ensure project performance criteria are being met. nIdentify and address areas of concern regarding potential liabilities and risk (fee, reputation, errors and omissions, etc.) to Management. nAssist in training and developing team members in the skills and understanding of firm procedures, methodology and practices expected for a successful project implementation. nEnsure accurate management of all accounts receivables to maintain a level not to exceed planned working capital charge as set by corporate. nComply with all Company policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice. nWork with safety supervisor to ensure all safety guidelines are met or exceeded.nAssist in the estimating/management process for industrial, commercial projects.nDevelop construction plans for projects. nDevelop list of potential tasks to be pre-fabricated and review with Construction Manager and Superintendent.nCoordinate job turnover meetings with the Superintendents and provide direction to field personnel.nAssist with equipment/material selections and buyout.nnOther duties as assigned.nnJob RequirementsnREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESnn· Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in managing design and construction of service/renovation/improvement projects. Industrial (warehouse, manufacturing) and process experience is preferred. n· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional manner and computer literacy. nnnnWORKING ENVIRONMENT: nnPosition will work at the Corporate office location, but be required to travel to client sites as needed.nn· Flexibility with work hours. Travel as necessary.nnn EDUCATION:nn· BA/BS in Project Management, Construction Management or related Engineering Field or equivalent industry experience. n· Other beneficial Licenses or Accreditation: AIA, PE, PMP, etc.
