We are seeking a Rental Sales Account Manager to join our team. In this role you will work with the Store Manager/Rental Region Manager to create and implement a business development strategy to achieve annual rental goals. Job Responsibilities

As a Rental Sales Account Manager you will be responsible for developing and maintaining rental production across all company fleet product lines within an assigned geographic area. You will represent the company to customers within your assigned area as well as develop, implement, manage and report weekly on rental goals and business plan. Additional responsibilities:

Maintaining current product knowledge of existing and new product lines as well as related applications Calling on existing customers and new prospects provided by rental supervisor and F W Dodge reports Presenting information and answering questions regarding existing and new product lines Responding to customer’s and manager’s concerns in a timely manner Negotiating rental rates and terms within the context of company policy Systematically prospecting for new accounts Delivering and or picking up equipment when required to assist rental department Analyzing, organizing, coordinating and reporting on activities in APR Assisting in collections from delinquent accounts Maintaining close, positive working relationships with rental, service and administrative staff

Your experience in the rental industry has allowed you to establish relationships with the construction and industrial customers in your area. Those relationships, your client service skills, and ability to develop strong business relationships will be paramount to your success in this role. 5 years of rental experience in construction or a related industry Ability to operate in a fast-paced, changing environment Demonstrated strong negotiation and closing skills Demonstrated sales skills including the ability to sell opportunities, ideas, and concepts Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines efficiently High level of initiative and ability to work independently Strong computer skills including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Ability to travel up to 40% of the time and work flexible hours
