nnJob DescriptionnSeeking a 5-6 year EIT or PE with land development experience along with proficiency in Civil3D who will be tasked with starting the Civil Department in this location. They will be doing a lot of roll out type programs which means the work is heavily deadline based. will be doing small to medium projects that take 2-2.5 weeks. They will be winning business by interacting with clients, presenting work and building a book of business in the southern California market. They will be designing along with managing the team.Work Environment: Currently the Irvine office is a fairly small office with approve 10-15 people in it. These people are all apart of the architectural group and now they are looking to grow their civil department. This firm has a few other offices, their main civil dept is out of texas currently. The office is fairly quiet, they sit in cubicles and have work functions monthly. Qualifications: Must have experience doing rollout projects or small projects that are heavily deadline based. 5-6 years of experience doing land development or site development projects. Must be an EIT or PE. Must be proficient in Civil 3DMust have great communication skills since they will be working with and building book of business, presenting to the city and clients, etc.Must be able to manage a team because eventually will be doing thisdisqualify: someone from city, municipal or large projects. Performance Expectations: best vs average : they wont take an average person here but the absolute perfect fit would be someone with a PE.
