This professional will manage large complex, cross-functional facilities projects across multiple locations related to facilities planning, design, construction management, strategic planning and development and execution of major facilities plans. Essential functions for this role include: Lead large and multiple small, complex, cross-functional projects simultaneously by defining scope, developing schedules, estimating and monitoring costs Manage project scope, including project budgets and change ordersManage and coordinates budgeting, scheduling, design, bidding, construction, and relocation requirements for renovation and new construction projectsPerform project closing documents and tasksLead space programming and space planningLead space utilization analysis and general design workLead in the development of design and implementation of office standards Lead the selection of fixtures, furniture (system/office and ancillary) and equipmentEnsure that all functions remain on schedule and that issues are escalated and resolved with the projects meeting successful completionBecome highly knowledgeable in the specifications, capabilities and operation of Garmin facilities operationsInspects and coordinates construction, telecommunications, security, IT, furniture, move-in requirements, signage and landscaping as it pertains to a projectCollaborates and drives core teams to develop solutions and lead team(s) through implementation and completion while developing and maintaining strategic working relationshipsTranslate operational requirements and mission needs into technical terminology and specifications to ensure the solutions are aligned with Garmin objectives Creates, maintains and distributes routine reports including status, completion and updated Gantt chartsManage/oversee team(s) responsible for delivery of projectsServes as a primary client contact and escalation point for any program/project issuesMeet or exceed budget goals with department’s annual capital and expense budgetsRespond to customer and vendor inquiriesManage and oversee contracts tied to construction related projectsEnsure compliance with all regulatory agenciesAct as liaison between customer and associates of other departments within Garmin supporting planning, reviewsIdentify and recommend improvements in Garmin facilities, documentation and proceduresYou may also demonstrate a high level of professionalism in all customer contact activities.
