Remote (Any location with proximity to a major airport in the east or west will be considered) Reports To Electric Distribution Channels Manager\u00a0 What You Will Be Doing You will be a critical member of the Electric Distribution Team, rapidly growing the specification of ChargePoint among Electrical Engineers and\/or Electrical Contractors in the US and Canada. Working with your counterparts in the EC&D group, you will be responsible for assessing the top 100 Electrical Engineering and Design & Build firms and developing strategies and tactics to increase ChargePoint Specification and inclusion in new construction and retrofit charging station MEP (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing) documents. You will be responsible for developing and executing technical training including in-person, and remote to enable Electrical Engineers and Design & Build firms to include ChargePoint in drawings, layouts, electrical load calculations and ultimately be the Top Position specified brand of charging stations. You will be responsible for increasing ChargePoint Specification to Design Build and Electrical Engineers across the US and Canada. You will develop and execute approved Electrical Contractor Direct programs, working closely with the Electric Distribution Channels Manager to ensure incremental sales while growing specification share. \u00a0What You Will Bring to ChargePoint Electrical Equipment technical sales experience (e.g. switchgear, lighting, BMS controls). EV charging equipment industry experience highly desirable Knowledge of Electric Distributor and Electrical Engineer\/Contractor business models and determine how to fully leverage ChargePoint in each of those models Track record of working closely with Electrical Engineers, Project Managers and Specifications Writers to get your company\u2019s solutions specified Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer inquiries and solve them with a the preferred solution you have been selling Proven leadership and influencing skills Well organized and experienced with project management systems and tools Outstanding communicator with heavy emphasis on oral, written and customer presentation skills to groups that may not have strong working knowledge of a non-incumbent technology Ability to train internal stakeholders to support your initiatives Experience with SalesForce\u00ae and with New Construction Databases Requirements Bachelor degree in Business or Electrical Engineering; dual degrees a plus. 3 of commercial (B2B) sales selling through Electrical Distribution channels or 3 years of experience at an Electrical Engineering or Design Build firm in electrical layout and related project management Ability and willingness to travel 30% of time Desire to build a new business segment with a fast moving, start-up oriented team working to bring change in the very mature electrical distribution industry.
