Job Description
Dewberry is seeking a Junior Bridge Engineer with 1 to 4 years of experience, but an entry-level bridge engineer with 1-3 years of applicable intern experience will be considered, to work in its New York, NY office. The candidate will assist with bridge design (steel and concrete) and a variety of civil structures (retaining walls, foundations and other miscellaneous structures). Individual will help perform structural modeling and analysis, structural calculations, load ratings, and plans production. Individual may also conduct code research, write specifications, and obtain permitting.

Required Skills & Required Experience

BS in Civil Engineering with focus in Structural Engineering required; MS preferred.
1 to 4 year experience; entry level with previous internship experience will be considered. EIT is preferred.
Experience on NYSDOT, NYCDOT, TBTA, MTA or PANYNJ projects is a plus.
Sound oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency using CADD (Microstation and/or AutoCad) preferred.
Proficiency using Microsof Office required.
Desire to work in a team enviornment.
Driving may be required for the position. A clean driving record is required.
