Minimum of five (5) years of progressive Project Controls experience is required.
Proficiency in TILOS, Primavera P6 release 7, 8.2 and 8.3, CM14, Unifier or other PM/CM software tools, working for engineering, construction and/or design-build firms is required.
Minimum of three (3) years of DOT experience, including Category 4, is preferred.
First-class written and verbal communication/presentation skills. Selected candidates will be requested to provide work samples.
New construction and modernization of US diplomatic facilities experience is preferred.
Active or ability to obtain US Secret clearance highly preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and review CPM schedules using Primavera, and/or MS Project.
Assist in reviewing construction claims.
Some travel and working away from home may be required.
Serve in lead technical role on specific assignments and lead or review preparation of reports and other project deliverables including designs, cost estimates and schedules.
Assume a lead role in managing the execution of various assignments from design through construction including resource planning, progress reporting and project closeout.
Serve as primary liaison with clients for initiation and coordination of tasks, including cost, schedule and quality control.
Coordinate the efforts of multiple project stakeholders.
Participate in the development of proposals for new pursuits and lead presentations as necessary.
Actively support marketing and business development efforts.
B.S. in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is required.
Current PSP or PMI-SP is required.
Current PE, CCM and/or CCP is preferred.
