We specialize in Grocery and Drug Store industry as well as other specialty retailers We invite you to visit us at ~~~ In Store Services is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager. Successful candidate will demonstrate capabilities within the retail and similar markets. In addition to being an experienced Project Manager, he or she should exhibit the following qualities: Good judgment and high ethical standards. Detailed-oriented with high quality of work standards. Good oral and written communication skills and strong leadership abilities. Reliable, dependable and professional. Good interpersonal skills, a high level of professionalism, and a team oriented mindset. Problem solving skills and the ability to think and react quickly under pressure. An organized approach to work and project details. Ability to deal with unforeseen challenges and a variety of personality types. High level of customer service. Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners. REQUIREMENTS: Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Must be able to pass Drug Test and Background Check Able to travel to jobsites both in state and out of state QUALIFICATIONS: 10 years of experience in the construction project management of commercial buildings. Experience developing project-specific budgets and schedules. Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, inspection reports, etc. Significant knowledge of construction methods as well as an understanding of municipalities and the permit processes. Ability to manage subcontractors and vendors. Ability to negotiate and track change orders with both owners and subcontractors. Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at a time. Ability to direct Superintendent to ensure accurate completion of project scope. Ability to meet sensitive timelines. Strong knowledge of Building Code and Safety Regulations Strong knowledge of MS Office suite including MS Excel, and MS Project. The PM is responsible for ensuring that all contracted work is executed in accordance with the company's policies, including contract documents, budget, schedule, safety, quality control and customer satisfaction. The PM is responsible for managing all subcontractors/suppliers on each project while also directing the Superintendent. Ultimately, the PM is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction. DUTIES WILL INCLUDE: Manage projects and effectively influence, negotiate, and communicate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and co-workers. Participate in the design development process to collaborate and value engineer construction methods to reduce time and cost. Establish and maintain project schedules and budgets, responsible for overall project delivery. Ensure contractor compliance of life safety/OSHA requirements are met on all job sites to minimize risk. Manage submittal process, change order negotiations and contract compliance. Lead negotiations, and manage high level meetings and discussions. Lead job site meetings, produce minutes. Establish effective relationships and strive for a collaborative team environment. Compensation: DOE Benefits package: Medical and Dental (after probationary period).
