Responsible for Project Development and Supervision of Mechanical Design of Material Handling Systems and serve as subject matter expert in Mechanical Design of Bulk Terminals and associated material handling infrastructure.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Project scoping and development of conceptual engineering for new projects.
Oversight and management of engineering consultants
Provide technical direction for the modification, upgrade, and construction of new bulk facilities.
Development of quantity take-offs for structural mechanical based on conceptual/basic
Provide engineering technical troubleshooting support to the Company’s field operations and/or
Direct involvement on inspection of existing assets
Experience in Development of Conceptual Design and equipment layouts for Bulk Handling
Experience in belt conveyor systems sizing and power calculation.
Familiar with general design requirements and operation of specialized bulk handling equipment
such as Shiploader and Ship Un-loaders, Barge Loader and Unloader, Stacker, Reclaimer, Car
Experience in planning and executing engineering for projects
Leadership and supervisory experience with engineering teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Overland Conveyor
