Civil Engineer Manager Jobs description
A civil engineer manager oversees engineering design and applies principles, practices, laws and regulations for engineering design. The functions of a civil engineer manager also consist of developing engineering designs and managing the CAD staff and training them in the preparation of civil engineering construction drawings, preparing bid documents, developing requests for proposals and inspection of construction site, determining work procedures and work schedules and ensuring safe operations and project compliance with the given policies. A civil engineer manager has to define problems, collect data, prepare the reports and procedures of the project, apply complex mathematical concepts and formulas, make presentations of the project in board meetings and read, analyze and interpret technical and legal documents. A civil engineer manager is responsible for solving employee related issues and problems.A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required for this position with experience in the domain along with leadership, project management and problem solving skills.
